Martin is responsible for overseeing legal affairs and corporate development functions at Reynen Court. He comes to us after a distinguished career spanning four decades in private practice as a senior corporate and transactional lawyer based in New York, having principally focused his attention on advising early-stage and growth-oriented venture capital-backed companies, entrepreneurs and investors in all manner of corporate, finance and transactional matters (including venture capital, M&A and general corporate counseling). Martin began his career at O’Sullivan Graev & Karabell, a pre-eminent New York corporate and transactional boutique (now, O’Melveny & Myers). Later in his career he was a partner in the New York offices of two Bay Area firms, including in the New York office of the global law firm Orrick. Martin most recently was a partner in VLP Law Group LLP. He earned his undergraduate degree from McGill University and his law degree from New York University Law School.
